THE NEW COLLECTION BY DELBRENNA

Experiments with shape, texture, and light—our style continuously evolves, creating designs and collections that express our family design and Italian origins. This time we pulled inspiration from the world of music; we chose Antonio Vivaldi, the famous Italian composer of the Baroque era, and his world-renowned masterpiece, "The Four Seasons," composed in 1725; it has truly stood the test of time!
"The Four Seasons" by Vivaldi is an extraordinary musical composition, often associated with elegance and luxury. Like the music, the new DelBrenna Vivaldi Collection is elegant, glamorous, and timeless. Resembling the abundance of the Baroque style, we created a splendid design that perfectly embodies DelBrenna's signature technique, incorporating the family-made Links chain, creating intricate, elegant frames for glimmering briolette-cut gemstones, which repeat in an exquisite symphony throughout the design.

VIVALDI COLLECTION: DESIGN

The Vivaldi Collection is based on our classic Filary design and focuses on the frame design crafted from our signature Links chain. To make a Filary element, we take a tiny string of Links chain and give it a round shape - we wrap it around a gem to create an intricate frame. Then, we add prongs to the structure to secure the gem, which will be set later in the final step.
The Vivaldi Collection features two design versions: Vivaldi and Vivaldi Brio.
Vivaldi includes rings, necklaces, bracelets, and stud earrings, composed of Filary elements and natural gemstones, soldered one after the other. The final effect resembles a tennis bracelet or a tennis necklace. However, we make it in our unique way - DelBrenna style!
In the Vivaldi "Brio" Collection, the Filary element pairs with our sparkling diamond beads chain for more casual pieces: a 29-inch long necklace, a bracelet, and dangle earrings.
We are launching "Summer" as the first of our four Vivaldi seasons, featuring clear quartz gems. Keep your eyes open in these upcoming months: after Vivaldi Summer, other gemstones and different colors will launch— Stay tuned!

VIVALDI SUMMER: CLEAR QUARTZ GEMSTONES

The Vivaldi design was born as the DelBrenna interpretation of a tennis necklace and tennis bracelet made entirely of our unique signature chain and gemstones. This concept in its ideal realization is most apparent when we use clear quartz as the main gemstone. Clear quartz gems glisten with colorless sparkle like diamonds in a classic tennis bracelet or tennis necklace; it's also a natural gemstone—and their more approachable price per carat makes them very attractive too.
We chose to launch Vivaldi in Clear Quartz this last part of Summer—airy and light-catching, it represents the light-heartedness of the season. We reflected on the notion that Summer is usually associated with brilliant, bold colors. Still, we deliberately chose to use a transparent gem instead because, at DelBrenna, we firmly believe that the most brilliant colors are inside you!

VIVALDI COLLECTION: CONCEPT

Our new Vivaldi concept recreates the same bold contrasts of Vivaldi's musical composition.
Imagine a warm August evening in Italy. An elegant lady wearing glittering jewels visits a unique 17th-century cathedral in a gallery-like setting where original carnival-inspired statues are displayed. Suddenly, a summer storm approaches; as she waits for the storm to pass, she begins to dream about a marvelous world exploding with joy and colors; she dances in the crowd, absorbed in the Summer carnival atmosphere, as confetti blows in the air.

VIVALDI COLLECTION: CAMPAIGN

The central concept of this campaign is the contrast between dark and light. The first part of the video is flashing and intriguing, with jewelry glimmering on a dark background. Then comes the dream of vivacity and joy on a bustling, multi colored Summer day. She's dancing at a Carnival, wearing shiny silver jewels reflecting sunlight and bright colors, in contrast with the first dark portion of the video. Our storm is a joyous one. In the Summer violin composition by Vivaldi, the storm is a sudden dramatic interruption into more lively music. It's a colorful break, like a dream that transports us into a new wondrous world.

VIVALDI: LOCATION & CINEMATOGRAPHY

The setting of our Vivaldi video is Carnevale di Foiano, a carnival event held in the Tuscan town of Foiano Della Chiana, just a few miles from Cortona. The history of this Carnevale dates back to 1539. It usually takes place during the Italian carnival season (February), but after two years of the pandemic, they moved all the fun to Summer this year. Beautifully articulated, giant carts built by the townspeople parade through the Tuscan streets in a colorful and joyous atmosphere.

Captivating, intriguing, dazzling: our Vivaldi “Summer” Collection is an ode to the Italian elegance, to the abundance of the Baroque style, but also to the light-heartedness of Summer, the airy feeling of clear quartz, the colors inside you, and the fantasy of the Italian Carnival.
