Shimmering, kelly-green peridot inspires an open heart, attracts abundance, family harmony, and good luck. Also called the "evening emerald," this gemstone is considered to be a symbol of joy, growth, and renewal.

Spinel appears in a variety of colors, including pink, blue, purple, and black. However, the brilliant reds are most popular—referred to as "flame spinel." They inspire great passion, devotion, and longevity.

Peridot and delbrenna jewelry

Mined in Egypt since 3500 B.C., peridot was often confused with other gems such as topaz and emerald. Some historians think that Cleopatra's famous emerald collection may have been peridot. The word "peridot" drives from the Arabic "faridat," which means gem. In medieval times, peridot was valuable and often used in priests' jewelry and on the chalices in the churches of Europe. Peridot is thought to be a talisman, protecting the wearer from evil and night spirits.
